Conclusion
Most of us have the innate sense that free speech is important. We have an inborn sense that the laws enforcing our rights or constraining them are very important to be aware of, in order to be assured that we don’t lose the rights we cherish. We may realize that discussing laws and the rule of law is important but realizing this innately and subconsciously as opposed to actually having the chance to meditate on this and to have to explain why this is important is different. The hope in going through this process is that you would have experienced first hand the fragility and the grand importance of the rights we have in America. The importance of debate about these rights and laws in general and the importance of having an informed opinion about them. These are vital life skills to have. The ability to have an informed debate, and the metacognitive awareness of the importance of the process and of the process itself.
